Join us at Caliente Ballroom in Mount Pleasant for an inspiring Ballet Summer Camp led by the incredibly talented Shannon Maloney.

From The Nutcracker to performances with the Palmetto City Ballet and the Unbound Ballet Project, Shannon brings years of professional experience. This summer, she’s excited to inspire the next generation of dancers.

Tuition: $200 per week
Daily Camp Experience
Parent Sign-In & Arts + Crafts
As students arrive, they’ll enjoy coloring sheets and hands-on activities to ease into the day.

Stretch & Technique Class
Dancers learn foundational ballet technique, flexibility, posture, spatial awareness, and important classroom skills like focus and following directions.

Snack Break & Ballet Media
Students enjoy their snack while watching age-appropriate ballet-themed media.

Creative Movement & Choreography
Interactive dance games and guided choreography lead to a special end-of-week mini showcase performance.

About the Instructor

Shannon Maloney
Shannon Maloney began dancing at age two and fell in love with ballet when she was six. Originally from Augusta, Georgia, she trained with Augusta Ballet School and later continued her training in Charleston with renowned ballet artists. Shannon studied Dance at the College of Charleston and began her professional career at eighteen with Palmetto City Ballet. She is currently performing with Unbound Ballet Project and loves sharing her joy of dance with young students. Shannon is excited to inspire dancers and help them grow at summer camp!

Frequently Asked Questions
Does my child need prior ballet experience?

No prior experience is required. This camp is designed for beginners and young dancers ages 4–8.

Girls: Pink tights and leotard (optional short skirt), hair in a bun or ponytail
Boys: Black tights, white t-shirt, dance belt, black ballet flats
Hair should be neatly styled and out of the face.

Please contact us before purchasing and we’ll gladly help with recommendations.

A labeled water bottle

A snack (please avoid messy foods like yogurt or applesauce unless your child can eat it neatly)

Leather ballet flats (contact us if you’re unsure what to purchase)

Drop-off begins at 9:00 AM. Pick-up is promptly at 12:00 PM.

Yes. Students will participate in a mini showcase at the end of each camp week where they will perform the choreography they’ve learned for family and friends.

Due to limited enrollment and small class sizes, tuition is non-refundable once registered. Please contact us directly if special circumstances arise.
